Mad Drunken Americans is the alt-rock group from songwriter Mike Mullaney, formed in 2023. The band was a continuation of a musical collaboration dating back to high school in Indiana between Mike, Matt, and Connor. After recording a few acoustic solo albums, Mike wanted to pivot to making music best served in a crowded bar with a real rock and roll band. The band consists of Mike Mullaney on vocals and guitar, Connor Demarais on guitar, Matt McCarthy on bass, Nicholas Turner on keys and Dan Milam on drums.

The band recorded and released their first self-titled LP, Mad Drunken Americans, in October of 2023 and has been playing shows around the Chicago area ever since. They are in the process of finishing up their second LP, scheduled to be released Summer 2026.
